Plant Identification Master Series

Enhance your botanical knowledge in this comprehensive monthly series with Isaac Wyatt, Interim Director of Bullington Gardens. Each session focuses on learning to identify 10–15 plant species, spanning native, non-native, and invasive varieties found across Western North Carolina.

Participants will explore everything from herbaceous forbs to mature trees, returning to previously studied species to observe seasonal changes and growth patterns. Each class runs approximately 1.5–2 hours and offers a mix of instruction and hands-on field learning. Space is limited; early registration is recommended. Max Class size - 15

Dates and times:

March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, August 18, and September 15. 1:00-2:30/3:00pm. Time - All classes start at 1:00 pm and run until 2:30/3:00pm.
